One of the hardest decisions I’ve made while playing in the world of art, music and creative expression is what name to be known by. My intention was clear: build a legacy that could hold the test of time, have fun being myself, and, most importantly, hope to be an influence on the lives of many by being a positive light in the world. Undoubtably, some ambitious goals not intending to sound easy. 

At the time, around 2008, I knew music and art were territories of unspoken, mutual understanding that bridged gaps across all unique walks of life. Fast forward some time and contemplation and we land at the name Crux.

To me,  Crux meant the distilled, concentrated, integral point of a topic that made it make sense. The understanding in the crossing point of different perspectives. The heartbeat of the subject and point of intention. The wonder was in that essence, the “something” you can’t quite see but lies in the place between dreams. Crux, what mattered most to me, listening and chasing this realm.
